Transformers Timelines

This is some art I got to do for this past weekend's 2012 BotCon, the official Transformers Collectors' Convention held in Dallas, TX. They used the art for the cover of their con exclusive comic/program and sold a limited run of prints.

What time is it?

This was a poster I did for last night's Mondo's Adventure Time Marathon Feast where they screened episodes and served show related food like "Everything Burritos" and "Rainbow Dogs". Show creator Pendleton Ward and Tom Kenny, the actor who provides the voice of the Ice King, were also in attendance. As a bonus they gave away this poster to anyone who attended...

Good evening...

OK, this might be one of my favorite shows ever to participate in. "Suspense & Gallows Humor" a tribute to the all-time greatest... yes, Alfred Hitchcock, my all-time favorite director! The show opens this Friday, the 13th (too cool!) at Gallery 1988: Venice and will feature 75 artists creating art inspired by the Master of Suspense. For my piece I had trouble really picking one of his films to focus on so this is what I came up with this. Oh, and if you're wondering what the train is from... could be "Strangers on a Train" or "Lady Vanishes" or "39 Steps"... its a mystery!

Commissions and stuff...

I figured I'd do a random posting featuring a bunch of commissions and things i've done over the past year. This first one I did as a trade with the super talented Sillof who does awesome custom action figures. He wanted a print done for his Star Wars themed Serial Wars customs he did which I traded for a super sweet samurai Snake Eyes custom also pictured...

Next up is a commission of the Hokie bird, the mascot of Virginia Tech. The person who wanted the commission asked to have a subtle representation of 32 to honor those killed in the shooting in 2007. If count the number of leaves on the tree it totals 32...

This is a commission I did for Nathan Danforth who was an additional muppeteer on the latest Muppets movie...

And, this is a commission I did for a family that wanted their portrait done as a vintage album cover, their intials make up the word "PhD" hence the name of their fictious group...
